In February 2026, the MGCNLCA community marked a major milestone through the Prayer Walk and Groundbreaking Ceremony for the
Alabang Campus. Held under the theme “Laying the Foundation for Future Generations,” the groundbreaking ceremony signaled the official
beginning of construction and, more importantly, a collective step of faith in God’s calling for the school.
Just days earlier, the community gathered to walk and pray around the perimeter of the future campus site. Inspired by the biblical account of Jericho, the prayer walk symbolized the dedication of the land to the Lord and the shared hope that this campus would become a place where hearts are shaped and leaders are raised.
At the groundbreaking itself, school leaders and guests joined in the ceremonial shoveling of soil, while messages from school leadership and Architect Marc Henrich Go pointed everyone back to the true foundation of the project: Jesus Christ. The moment was both celebratory and deeply spiritual — a reminder that this campus is not simply being built for growth, but for God’s greater purpose.
